Taran Mathur is a British-Indian self-taught abstract artist, entrepreneur and founder of ESYL, a creativity-led wellbeing platform. His artistic journey began at the age of three and gained national recognition when his work was exhibited at the Royal Academy of Arts at just 11 years old. Since then, he has built an international exhibition profile, showcasing work across London, Barcelona and the Venice Biennale 2024, with his latest exhibition taking place in Chelsea in 2026. Known for his bold use of colour and expressive abstract style, Taran’s work has been collected across Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia. His collectors include cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, who has also been a valued mentor and supporter of his creative journey. His work has been featured in multiple publications and is held in private collections around the world. Alongside his artistic career, Taran has used creativity as a vehicle for impact, raising funds through charitable exhibitions and auctions supporting organisations such as Pratham and Riley Children’s Hospital. Today, he continues to champion the power of creativity through both his artwork and ESYL, helping people use creativity as a tool for wellbeing, personal growth and burnout prevention.
