Rishik S. Vishwanathan is a 20 year old artist, who has been drawing and painting for as long as he can remember. With a fascination for wildlife that has sparked his creativity from a young age, he has produced a portfolio of canvases exploring giraffes, birds, camels and, most recently, elephants through their different forms, using a bold range of vibrant acrylic paints and a black marker pen. Rishik paints entirely from his imagination which makes every piece of work tell a unique story. He sold his first work at an auction, aged 7, and has collaborated with animal welfare charities ever since, producing merchandise for ACRES Singapore and drawing live for audiences at their annual charity galas. He has also exhibited with Wildlife SOS, and raises money for them each year at their annual international auction. Rishik has been one of Born Free Foundation’s youngest supporters from the age of 10. In October 2025, Rishik’s art was featured in an installation by Transport for London (TFL) on the London Underground at Pimlico Tube Station. He continues to work with organisations and galleries across the UK, India, Singapore and the USA and is always excited to explore new opportunities. When he is not painting, Rishik reads Law at Cambridge University.

The Dwarkadesh form of Srinathji, as shown here, has been worshipped in a haveli in the village of Kankroli near Nathdwara since 1720. This embodies a Vishnu avatar with four arms, each representing a moment from a romantic episode with Radha: the lower right hand holds a lotus - Radha's palm - pushing Krishna's hand away from her eyes. The upper right hand carries a Gada or mace - her hand - moving up his body to embrace him. The upper left hand holds a Chakra or disc, marking the impressions left by her bracelets through the embrace. And the lower left hand carries a Shankha or conch shell - her neck - as he closes her eyes with his palms.
